Square hearing draws 'openness' advocates

Kevin Korpela, 38, lives and works in downtoan Wausau and crosses the square in the 400 block several times a day. His idea includes using the designs of young people and students to create areas in the perimeter for people to sit, socialize or have small events.

"The idea is small-sized parks or pockets that are set in the corners," Korpela says.
