2006 schedule to be announced!
(active!) reading™ provides a venue for local people to share their poetry, tell a story, read an essay, sing a song or play a musical instrument. Active thinking, writing, listening and reading may promote more civic participation. In addition, using your voice in a public forum helps strenghten your confidence to share ideas/observations and expand your imagination.
The (active!) journal 2005 shows the 15 readers and 41 listeners that participated in three readings on Saturday evenings at the Gelato Caffe, 130 Jefferson Street, Downtown Wausau.
The (active!) journal 2004 shows the 35 readers and 86 listeners that participated in nine readings on Thursday evenings at the City Square 400 Block during 2004. The readings were featured in the Wausau Daily Herald.
