What Does An Architect Do?
An architect helps visualize ideas for indoor spaces and outdoor places, such as helping a college realize the limitations in renovating a student center yet suggesting possibilities to renew that same building. Renewing a building maintains a resource, respects citizen investment and recognizes the embodied energy (energy used to make concrete or steel) in the original center.
